New Hire or transfer guide
Hiring or transferring of employees needs "approval" before beginning.
Step 1
Fill out the online New Hire-Transfer Form. Once these forms have been submitted, the Business Office will follow up with the status of your requests. If approved, please feel free to move to Step 2.
Step 2
Please send the potential candidate the following link to complete the Culture Index Survey. Then view the job posting in the Allaso Career Center and share the specific job link with your candidate.
- Send the Culture Index Survey
- Once on the Careers page, locate the position you would like the candidate to apply for and select the job title. On the job posting page, click the blue “Share” button and send the job listing to your candidate via email. After reviewing the application, you may begin the interview process. Once you have interviewed the candidate and contacted their references, please move to the next step.
Step 3
Consult with Camp Director for final verbal approval to hire the candidate. Once received, we will offer the candidate the position by written notification with our Offer Packet to be sent by the Business Office. Once the candidate signs and returns the packet you can move to the next step.
Step 4
Have the candidate fill out IN FULL the online New Hire Packet. The Business Office will email the Candidate the link for the online New Hire Packet. Before the employee can begin their first day, the candidate must complete the new hire packet in full. Once the Business Office confirms everything has been completed and the background check is approved, you will receive a confirmation start date.
Employee release or resignation guide
Hiring or working with an employee who is resigning needs "approval" before beginning the process.
Step 1
Fill out the online Employee Release or Resignation Form. Once the form has been submitted, the Business Office will follow up with you on the status of the employee. Once you hear back from the Business Office please move to the next step.
Step 2
Take the exit paperwork provided by the Business Office and present the release or resignation details to the employee and acquire signature on all forms. The supervisor needs to lead this meeting and a second staff member needs to be present. Once this is complete please move forward to the next step.
Step 3
On the same day the exit paperwork is presented please prepare an opportunity in a private setting for the person to gather their personal items from their desk. Before the person departs please ensure you have collected all church related items such as computers, phone, keys and files. The supervisor needs to be present for this time and a member of security as well. When all church property has been collected please have security escort them from of the building.
Step 4
After the person exits the building immediately complete the online Employee Change Form. This is an important part of the process as it informs the Business Office of the persons last date for payroll and benefits purposes. If this form is not submitted the person will continue to be paid and receive benefits. This form will also inform Security and IT so they can eliminate all technology and building access.
